Tomoo Maruyama serves as Chief Strategy Officer of Axiata Digital Service Sdn Bhd since 2019. He oversees new business development for strategic projects across all business verticals.
Prior to his current assignment, he oversaw the investment portfolio in Telco industry as well as digital industry in South East Asia and Africa, as GM of Internet Platform Business Dept in Mitsui & Co., Ltd.
For 20 years, he worked in Mitsui & Co., Ltd in Japan for business development & Investment in Electronics, Media, Internet area in Japan and Southeast Asia, except for marketing assignment in Raza Microelectronics Inc, CPU Venture Company in Silicon Valley from Y2003 to Y2005.
